So i finally installed the full set. i had to raise the front a little with new springs because it was rubbing with the stance i originally had. I would like to lower the front down another 1/2 inch or so, but that will much later down the road. Tell me what you think of the overall look and stance. Thanks

forgot to mention that the fronts are 19x8.5 with a 245/40 tire and 4.75 backspace. The rears are 19x9.5 with a 275/40 tire and 5.5 backspace.

I know, the car is a little dusty but i've been too busy getting everything back together.

i saw on pt.com that you had a rubbing issue at the best looking ride height. i'd do whatever i could to get the car to work at that height. stance is the most important part of getting wheels to look right.

wheels look real good though.

Hey I just saw your car tonight at the car show at LCL. I was jocking the HRE's!
i didn't think anyone from here was going to be there. which car was yours? was it actually in the show? Tonight was the first time i ever even took the car out of the shop. just got insurance and registration yesterday so i just wanted to bring it out just for fun.

You know, I normally don't like 19's on a chevelle - but the wheel you've picked out looks fantastic in that size with your color car. NICE!:thumbsup:

I LOVE the car, but I just don't like the wheels. Sorry bud. But so long as you like them, that is all that matters at the end of the day. I think I would have gone with something all polished, or something more traditional in style. The size is great, 19's look awesome on these cars, but I'm just not digging the style.

no hard feelings at all, i really only bought the wheels because i got them for a good price. i wasn't too fond of the look myself but these will have to do for now until i save up some more money. I still have the option of changing colors of the center's because they are a 3 piece wheel, so i may consider that also. i truly appreciate your honest opinion because you are a big wheel vendor here, but now that i am about to start my first semester of Graduate school to get my MBA, the car will have to be put on hold for a few years before i can make any more changes. :(

my dad has owned the same body shop for over 22 years (Angkor Auto Body & Paint), so i have a small connection :) He is pretty much an insurance repair facility but i was working there too so i was able to squeeze in some work whenever business happened to be slow for a week or something.
