Hey guys,
I bought ARP bolts for my 383 engine (The 3 on each side that hold the mounts) I lost one so I picked one up from the hardware store, I grabbed a 3/4" and a 7/8" This bolt has what looks like a built in washer under the head, is a washer not used with this style? I also grabbed a grade 8 standard type bolt (the goldish one) which doesnt have this.

Bolts that normally hold on the motor mounts to the block have lock washers on them. I used all grade eights on mine with lock washers. You could even call ARP and ask if they could send you one. They sent me a couple of SS header flange bolts with washers at no charge.
