You don't need the search unless you're trying for find a specific part number. GM also uses different noun names for parts sometimes, so you might end up searching for an emblem when GM is calling it a plate.
These still come with an index page(s), and that's the best way to find something if you don't know the group number. Also, once you do have the froup number, it will show other related parts like grommets, or additional pieces needed.
These are exactly what we used to use in GM dealerships, just scanned onto a disc.
