I recently purchased new stainless steel parking brake cables for my project. I note when I installed them in the backing plates that they seemed a little loose in the bores. Today I was perusing the Inline Tube catalog and there are seals for those ends shown. So the question is, should there be seals on the parking brake cables where they go in to the backing plate? If so, they are so minimal as to not be noticeable. I also didn't have the originals for reference.
