My El Camino is about ready for paint, I've disassembled, stripped, welded, patched, hammered, primed, blocked, primed, blocked etc, etc. I'm looking for someone to paint (or seal and paint as the case may be). I was going to paint myself but I'm nervous about screwing things up with the amount of time I've already spent! Any recommendations in the San Diego area? Any one know anything about Hot Rods and Classics in Lakeside? Any thoughts on how much this might cost here in So Cal (I know that is a loaded question but I have to ask).

Couple of thoughts here.....I had Scott King paint mine....he was on his own at the time..now he is w/Hot Rods and Custom Stuff in Escondido...definitely not cheap...but unreal perfection...the other choice for me is Encinitas Auto Body..Dave Cartwright is the owner and I have had several projects done by him...not sure if he is willing to just spray someone elses work, but he is reasonable...so there ya go...good luck!

call socal paint & body . They are on prospect in santee .... it really depends on how much yu want to spend !!! i run a bodyshop in spring valley and i can tell you its hard to find someone to just "shoot" the paint . another guy to try is paul wagner @ elite fleet ,he does hotrods he is in spring valley .
