Part of my Sunday routine is watching the "car" shows on TNN. This Sunday they were working on their El Camino project. They installed a new Painless Wiring Harness. I have been debating about which wiring system to use myself when the time comes. I like what I see with the Painless system but I have heard that there are somethings that need to be "borrowed" from the old/original harness. I know this has been covered somewhat in the past but I was wondering if anyone has had anything new to add or any new encounters. Thanks.

Save yourself a lot of headaches and greif. Just go buy M&H harnesses. I am rewiring my WHOLE car and I have have very good luck with them. The wire lengths are just right, they have the right connectors and so on. Very good product in my opinion.

Ditto on M&H. I used their engine and forward lamp harnesses. Perfect.
