Hey guys I finally saved up some cash and I'm buying my wiring harness. I decided to go with painless for cost (pretty much the only reason), and have heard several good things about them.

I wanted to know how how extensive is the diagram? Will it get down to the nitty gritty details or will it only cover basics? I have very very little wiring experience. I wanted to know what I'm getting my self into before I rip anything out. For any wiring rookies that have done this is it that hard?

What diagram are you refering to? The 18ckt one that i have didn't have any REAL wiring diagram.But it does have all with wired labeled with the description and a number.Like wipers 22 and wipers 23 or something.The wipers 22 is the from the switch and the wipers 23 is to the wiper motor and stuff like that.I think it has one wiring diagram for the wiper motor.But other than that ,thats it.The best thing you can do is buy or find a wiring diagram.What year do you have?

Oh,and which one did you get and how much was it.I got my 18ckt at jegs for i think $270.I think the prices have gone up to over $300 for some reason.

I will be buying the 12 ckt box. Mainly becuase The car doesn't have many bells and whistles. The only thing I need is lights (front and rear all), ignition, electric fuel pump, radio, and guages. The car will only see nice days and (hopefully) mostly track time.

OPG still has the harnesses marked at 250 for the 12 crkt (in case anyone is looking to buy one) the 18 circuit I thought would be overkill.
