I've been reading some of your posts about the 4L80 conversion and done the research and decided to take the plunge and ordered the Stage II 4L80 from Jakes Performance. I ordered it with the transbrake and the 3500 convertor and Optishift controller as well. Jake said he will start on it soon and I should have it with 3 weeks. I will be ordering the Innovate Motorsports TPS to hook up to my Race Demon 750. The little 406 in my 66 will be loving the extra gear. Hopefully, I will still be dropping a 10th or two with the addition of the transbrake. 11.1 @ 119 just might drop to 10.90's. Please wish me luck. I know I'll be on here asking some questions to some of you guys who have already completed the swap.

you will love the 4L80E-i swapped out a 400 for the 80E in my 69, saw no loss in ET, although it is 99.9 street-the 1900 RPM @ 60 was hard to beat
when i get to it, gonna build one for my 65, already mocked it up and built a X mem., so it
is ready

Jakes a good guy!You wont be disappointed he helped all the way thru my own rebuild of my 4l80 and supplied the parts.
Your good to go!
