Hey,
Im trying to find a 4 inch cowl hood. What brand would yall recomend, and are there aany 4 inch hoods that you can use the windshield wipers. Thanks

HARWOOD hoods are the best.
Wipers should be just fine.
Worst case scenario, you trim the scoop a bit for clearance.

I have a Glasstek and love it. Basically no prep work before paint and it left the same gap dimensions as my factory hood.

Kinda got a change of plans, My Dad doesnt really want me to get a 4". Does anyone sell a 3" for a '70. If not, that want bother me at all cus I want a 4". Thanks

I've got a 4" Harwood, hinged, bolt on, show finished underside, on my '70.

I'd go with the harwood due to the finished bottom. You could always go with an SS or 2 inch metal hood to please your Dad.

Iv'e got an SS hood but I wanted it bigger. How big are the SS, I thought they were two inches?By the posts I guess no one sells a 3 inch hood for a 70 chevelle?
