I have a MS notebook mouse for my Dell Latitude D/600 laptop. Is there a limited life to this wireless mouse. The antenna light is on but the mouse light wont come on. There is a small button on the back that says connect but nothing happens.

I Held in a small chrome button on the back of the mouse and now the light is on but the cursor on the screen wont move unless I use my finger.

It cant see where batteries would go nothing comes apart and there are no screws. it a true wireless setup. maybe a driver problem

What's the model number ?
Most of the notebook mice listed here have a battery life listed ,so there might be a battery there somewhere.

Wireless won't work without power, and magic power doesn't count. It needs a battery. If it isn't a replaceable battery, then you have a replaceable mouse.

More than likely there's a battery, look at the back of the mouse (near where your palm rests), part of it will separate right there and the battery and it's tray will slide right out. It is hidden within the "body lines", if you will, lol.
