The car is not far from me. I called him several months back. For some reason this car will not sell. Sorry, that is the only news I have on this one.

Build sheet is real, trans tag looks good, but I don't see any pictures of the block stamps or the trans VIN stamp. Nicely done car, the master cylinder is wrong, and the dipstick is wrong, and I'm sure a few other things I didn't notice right off-hand, but overall, a nice car.

David, I'm sure you have a good deal of knowledge of Chevelles, but, with all due respect, I don't understand how you can look at a photograph of a build sheet and categorically state "the build sheet is real."

I saw a thread you posted not long ago in which you were asking for some advice concerning a PhotoShop type of product.
I think you might not realize the stunning degree of accuracy and authenticity that can be achieved by a bright (but unscrupulous) guy with a strong skill set in that area.

Regards,

Maybe it's because I've worked on them for 25 years. Maybe it's because I've owned them for 25 years. Maybe it's because I've got a couple hundred other build sheets to compare them to.

I believe you've said you could photochop a perfect fake. Have at it.

I asked about the Photoshop program so that I could edit photographs of my cars so I can put them on my business cards. I asked about PS so that I could take unwanted items out of the pictures of my trips. I asked about PS so that I could put images of people like you driving Mustangs....

X2, the only holdbacks are the lack of CI, bench seat and auto on the column. Otherwise this car would sell in a NY second and probably for much more than the asking price!!!
..the other side of the coin is there are people looking for a car specifically equipped like this one...maybe not many but none the less.. and in that "world" so speak, this car would be hard to top for the money.

Or drop in a 505 stroker with the correct 290 heads, intake, carb, manifolds, etc. and run it in the FAST class as an L34 ;) :D
