I picked up a form at tag office along with 10 dollars sent it to Okla city for a title search to find out cars history. Upon calling was informed that anthing in the 60s had been lost or destroyed. I would have to take a chance. AS far back as they said it would possibly go back to the early 70s. Does anyone know if that is true or done research back that far?

I DONT KNOW IF ANY WILL COME BACK BEFORE THAT. YOU CAN CALL THE NUMBER ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FORM THEY MIGHT TELL YOU. YOU NEED TO ASK FOR TITLE SEARCH DEPARTMENT.:beers: :thumbsup:

Can you "TULSA boys" tell me, where to get, "one of these forms to do an Oklahoma title search"....

The 1970 Chevelle originally sold new at;
RAMSEY CHEV. CO. INC.
309 S MEMORIAL DR.
BIXBY, OKLA.

Since it is, "buildsheet dated 12/30/1969" at KC....It would probably, have sold early, in 1970....in Bixby,Ok.

A phone number, an address, a website, a name, anything that would help, I would really appreciate any helpful advice, that you guys can give me, "to help speed up the process"....Thanks Much, Don.

any tag office.
you can go to the oklahoma tax commission online, and download a copy.
that is how i got my copy of the form.
Thanks for the info Johnnie,
I really was'nt aware Oklahoma had such a service, to do the "title searches", on classic motor vehicles....
........[use Form #769]...http://www.tax.ok.gov/mvforms/769.pdf ....

It will be interesting, finding "when, where and how many times" the Chevelle SS sold, through the years....
Hopefully, everything will go "smooth".. I am ready to find out, "the forgotten history".......Thanks again, Don.

I today received my form after a search by okla OTC Any way upon sending was told that the the OTC could only go back to 73 if I were lucky? I was not. It went back to 76 I already knew more history on it than that. Im stumped.It was worth a shot. I was hoping to find the dealer and first owner.
