I have a 67 el camino with a 4-speed and headers I want to hook up a oil pressure gauge it seems impossible to get to the oil pressure fitting without removing the inner fender and possibly the z bar is there a better way or is that it?

must be a big block. on a sb the oil presure sender goes by the distributor.
The bell crank or z bar is not that hard to get out. Its kindda tight over in that area.

I can't speak for the inner fender but pulling the "Z"Bar is sure no big deal. Frankly I can't imagine that its necessary to pull the inner fender. I'd remove the header long before I'd take the inner fender out. JMHO

Then if things were still too tight I'd remove the drivers side motor mount thru bolt and raise the engine a bit on the drivers side for better sending unit access.

course I am accustomed to working on SBC's. Haven't had a BBC since 1970.
