Im using the Champ CP207 on mine. Looks like a stock pan but has all the goodies inside. No more kickout pans for me.

I'm using the SUM-G3606 on my 489 but I have main studs and had to cut the studs to clear the screen, I think it's a Moroso pan and made in USA

I actually looked at that pan today. It's a six quart I believe. Do I need a special oil pump pick-up? It's stroker clearanced too I believe. That pan will clear my crossmember okay?

Wow, that's two votes now for the champ pan. Must be a decent piece. How do you like it?
Decent budget pan going on a 454 so just test fitted it so far and so far no real complaints except some shavings in the pan. Feel Moroso is better but alot more $. Another option: Mark Jones aka Vorecpro sells oilpans VortecPro - Racing & Machine - Homepage

Yeah 6 quart. I just used the pickup they said and a Melling HV pump. It is on my 489 so yeah stroker clearanced. If a stock one will clear, this one will. No issue on my 72 wagon. No leaks either so far. Only thing that was kind of a pain was the dipstick tube, had to bend it some to clear my header tube.

There’s a little more to it that that, Mark sells a working solution. You send him a pan, standard volume M77 pump, a pickup that matches your pan, and possibly a couple main studs (if you don’t have the correct studs to work with the GM tray). You also need to give him your connecting rod information, including bolt lengths.

What he sends you back is a blue printed pump with the pickup TIGd in place and a sorted out pan and windage tray. My 496 oil pressure is bang onwith the standard pump, and oil pressure always increased with rpm. Cruising (about 2000-3500) is about 60 psi and then pressure climbs to 74 psi at 6000 rpm.
