Just went to Summit to buy some more 10w40 racing oil with the high zddp and they only list 30w or 10w50. Can I run the 10w50 or is there another reasonably oil out there with a high enough zddp?

I run Valvoline VR-1 racing oil 20W-50 with no problem. It has DZZP.

Look into Joe Gibbs "Hot rod oil"...available in several different weights all with high ZDDP.

I thought they put out a 20W50 and a 10W40, are you sure it said 10W50?

I use their racing oil for the zddp content, 10W40. The machinist for my motor said he runs 20W50 in all the engines he builds, so I take it from that that you'd be OK.
