A couple pictures of the 1966 SS factory four speed, car I purchased probably fifteen years ago. It spent the last two years unused in a shed at my brothers, we moved from the acreage to the city and had no space for it. But for now no more cold winters in a pole shed and back to a heated garage. A couple things to fix up and hopefully us it more next year.

I'm in. This is my 67 Chevelle purchased four hundred miles away from home that I hauled an engine to and drove the car home after getting it running. This was 1985, so that is the period correctness I am keeping it at, with 85 IROC Blue lacquer, despite the vortec heads on the 350. 383 2.02 fuelie head engine coming soon.

Stance is provided with three inch blocks in the rear and unknown used front springs with fresh KYB's. Suede grey primer 15x7 GM rallys front with 15x8 argent silver western wheels repop rallys rear. Four inch backspace with one inch spacers on the 66 12 bolt puts it right at slight rub. And I always liked the look of factory wheels minus beauty rings and the smooth emblem free taxi caps are all they need.

Proper rubber rake is provided by dozen year old 235/60R15 front and 275/60R15 rear, BF Goodrich, of course! Despite being the same diameter wheels, it has the big and little effect.

I pulled it out of storage a couple years ago with 89 plates on it, installed the engine out of my pickup, and have been using it as a fair weather daily driver as much as possible ever since. Recent upgrade was interior install with proper seats and brackets installed. Combined with an M20 vertigate controlled transmission, I feel 20 years old again. 馃槅
