I guess I just don't get it, why would anyone spend their money on this product? Wouldn't you rather spend the money on actually making your car fast? Even when I went to high school (20 years ago) the guys who put loud exhaust systems on slow cars (low compression camaros & mustangs) got made fun of. Oh well, to each their own I guess?

I seen that about 10years ago on Beyond 2000, i thought it was pretty cool. The one they had only played the audio inside the cab, sounded really cool, made an old econo box sound like a Ferrari porsche ect. It takes the engine noise from inside the cab,cancels it out and replaced it with another car engine, exactly.

Very cool, you'd have to see/hear it to believe it, you'd get one in a heartbeat.

I wonder if they have one to replace the sound of a solid roller cammed big block with 3" exhaust to make it sound like a Yugo.

Actually about 8000 RPM and that is what it would sound like. After I am done picking the pieces up my wife would tell me thats all I could get is a Yugo :thumbsup:

My chevelle drowns those out now . I remember one time I was sitting in traffic and see a couple puffs of smoke go by and of course thought it was my car leaking something. I look in the mirror to see some young kid in an import revving the crap out of his car and all this smoke is coming out of his exhaust, lol!

The problem with the whole idea is even if you matched the sound just right the throttle response still sounds like the mini-van, so you get the sound of a fart can on a V8 with no power. Properly tuned engine sounds are more than just the tones and reverberations, just like a song is a composition of notes, not just the notes themselves.

I wish I didn't, but yes I did. And I agree, unfortunately someone will buy this product.

I also saw someone selling electric turbo charges . He tried advertising on a f-body site I frequent and got flamed to death.

I think that this is either A) a joke website, or B) an idea that will never become an actual product.
The website looks convincing, but there are no actual photos of it, only computer graphics. Even the unit in the video isn't real.
But, hey, if they really do end up making it and make a profit, good for them. I'd sell a silly toy to the ricers if I could, their money will spend the same as anybody's.
I hate to admit it, but in high school I recorded a dual exhaust v8 and played it in my little nissan real loud. But I did it as a joke. The guys laughed with me...the girls laughed at me...
Man, I'd love to go back there now with my big block Chevelle. If I ever get it back together...
