Ok I swapped out a vortec 350 to a stock 79(ish) 454 in a 1966 C-10 w/ a th 400/12 bolt w/ 3.08's

now I need to know if there are headers made for this truck w/ a BBC in it.

Also... the 454 pulls HARD as hell

I had 300 HP w/ the 350 and the 454 just kicks the **** out of anything that the 350 had. I am wondering the HP/TQ specs of that 454. Anyone got any ideas?

On my old '66 SWB with a 427, I used headers for a '70-'72 C-10 w/BBC and had to dimple a tube or 2 a little. Check out the forums at www.67-72chevytrucks.com , great wealth of resources for ALL Chevy trucks ! My forum handle is the same there as here .

I only use long tube headers, shorty headers aren't worth the swap to me . I used some of the cheap $125.99 Headman headers from Super Shops in 1986 :D .
