You would be surprised to know the stuff you learn when you play with the same car for 43 years. Them their old Geesers know some odd facts about Chevelles.
More trivia. ""Cowl Ind. hoods"" the hinges have a part number with the letter L & R.
"" Domed Hood hinges "" have the letter " E " stamped on the hinge along with a stamp of the Fisher Body Coach. ( The stamp is on the flat surface, Where the hinge bolts to the hood).
What rear control arm on a " SS " chassis has the welded patch?
What does a M-22-- 1970-SS Sheet metal body have that a T-400--SS-Sheet metal body does not? Nothing to do with the clutch or shift linkage or the hole in the floor. My question has to do with the body only.
Most M-22 guys and the serious nut case chevelle people know.
P.S. It is another way to spot a clone, If you know that's fine and say nothing. Lets make some people KRazY !

Bob you said the Philips head screws had a triangle marking on them for 1970, do you know if the '71-'72 have a different marking? the reason I ask is the set of moldings I have ( still in GM wrappers) have the triangle markings on them, I bought these in the late 80's early '90's from Chevelle classics ( now OPGI ). Just want to know if all had same markings or not. Thanks, Bob
