So where did the other labels I showed with the rust go?Looks like they do have GM stickers on them so probably those folks with a lot of money and pay just for numbers only will be interested in them.
The box sticker does not get applied to the fender because it is an order sticker. They don't open the box, pull the fender, and apply a sticker. That is plain foolish. The GM sticker inside the fender is what one should expect to see.The ad shows this sticker below ,with all kinds of crusty crud around it. And the pictures of the fenders dont even show this sticker on the fenders themselves? Could it be that the fenders were resprayed to look better than they really are? Most likely couldnt remove the pictured sticker without damaging them, and took the pictures of them first, and maybe did get damaged trying to take them off???
Sorry , but Im so leery of everything these days.

That's decades old BS. New fenders were available very early for repairs, collisions, and such so the dealers and body shops could replace if required. GM didn't triple ship fenders to the assembly lines, then ship them to the distribution centers, then the dealers. Pure nonsense.Totally worth it, they look in great shape being most NOS was left over after the assembly line used the better stuff. Cheap RePOOP stuff will never fit right, time spent with shops charging by the hour, there goes 2-3 hours each saved. GM didn't double ship fenders to and from the assembly line, to the distribution centers, then out to dealers.
I didnt realize they were the box order stickers. Thats all you had to say. . What's plain foolish are your explanations using "plain foolish", " thats decades old BS", and "pure nonsense", (to "azchevs" comment). Hows it feel to be a know-it all?The box sticker does not get applied to the fender because it is an order sticker. They don't open the box, pull the fender, and apply a sticker. Wasn't even attempting to be a know it all. Don't take it personally it wasn't directed at you, just the statements. Just putting out some facts and dispelling old BS, nothing more. No sense propagating BS. Have been ordering parts from GM since the seventies, that is until the great recession closed down the Chevy dealers that I dealt with, and even one over that was over 100 years old.I didnt realize they were the box order stickers. His reply might've been direct & blunt, but I think you're overreacting here. Not putting words in anyone's mouth, but I read that as him speaking in generalities not at you in particular. What are you talking about, you want to get personal with me?
