I am going to bring about 5 to 6 cases of sodas & ice.

I'll be there if I can get the 2 caliper mounting bolts I e-mailed y'all about so that I can finish the front disc brake conversion.

I'll bring whatever y'all think we are short on. Let me know.

Please help out with the 2 large caliper bolts if you can. Check your e-mail for a description.

Randy, those bolts are hard to find. I had to order some from Rick's First Generation the last time I needed a set.

HI Stewdog, we will be glad to have you with us. Take the Milam road exit just north of Denton on hwy 35. It will force you to make a uturn under the highway and the entrance is just on the other side. If you miss the exit you will have to back track south past it and then make a uturn under 35 again so don't miss the exit. Here is a link with directions/pics, etc.

Frank, it's a special bolt with an extra large head to dissipate braking force from the caliper to the spindle. It is 5/8" x 1 1/8" Grade 8 fine thread, threaded nearly to the head. It COULD be made out of a normal bolt, but it won't have the larger head surface area.

No matter, because I found a pair on some '70 Chevelle disc brake spindles that a friend had laying around.

Looks like I'm in good shape again, provided I get some time to work on this thing. I have to drive again tonight, but it is getting close to finished.
