I have a 98 civic I am fixing up for my mom and the connector that is solder to the back glass on one side has come loose from it's joint. I was wondering if anyone might knw a fix besides new glass? Thanks Brandon

Call your local glass company they can fix this.
Ive also seen kits for the DIYer but dont how effective they are...Eric

Silver bearing epoxy, pricey and effective. Loctite has a kit for re-glueing rear view mirror button back on and copper paint to reconnect. Solder back on with 700W iron. Heat up solder on glass and stick tab against it, then put iron on tab and heat both to attach. Just did it today with small, stick type iron....couple attempts and its OK! Don't over heat or BOOM, new glass.......
