Today i've stuck in deep snow... While trying to rock a car something bad has happened
There was a "CLUNK" from a rear end and after that there was rocking/heavy rolling sound from a rear end while the trannsmission is in "drive" or "rear".
One wheel(actually at least one - the car is still sitting in the snow
) still can spin when i engage the trans and depress the brakes...
This noise is followed by a big vibration...
The car is 1979 Chevy Caprice, with mild 350SBC, th-350 and stock non-LSD rear end (2.73 ratio, with C-clips inside)...
What's happened with rear end and how to repair it ?
Thanx a lot
