The vent cables in my non AC '69 were pretty bad. I ordered replacments but they are back ordered. Even when I get them, they are going to be too long. Has anyone gone down this route before? What is the best way to cut them and bend the ends? Is there a better solution?

Thanks

well I had mine done, which made it easy! but I did see them advertised in the "old air products" catalog, they are in ft. worth tx. you might check if they have any available, sorry dont have the phone number but they should be in directory assistance,,

Bob,

If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself. There is a special tool just for bending the "loops" in the end of the cables. Check with Year One.
