on a bbc402 with a Nodular Iron Crankshaft that is being turned and balanced right now. how much RPM's HP/Torq can i run on this crank and have it be a reliable street car? i have looked a round but found nuthing
the casting nuber is 3904815NF
2bolt 402

NOS - how much i dont know?

650hp up tp 6500 rpm or so is OK... A quarter mile at a time..

Same crank I had in my 402 motor. Ran it to 6200-6300 with no issues. For a balanced motor, 6500 is nothing. Biggest issue is always rod failure at higher RPM.

3/8" or 7/16" bolts??

For stock, 3/8", it's hard to beat rebuilt "truck/thumb" rods.

7/16", there's a bunch of them out there now..

I ran the Eagle SIR's a few years ago, and had no problems with anything about them....they were as good or better than anything else in that price range.
