Both rear driving lights work. Emergency flashers work everywhere. Right rear brake light and turn signal (front and rear) work. Left front and rear turn signals and left brake light not working. I went throuh wiring and bulbs in rear, and just installed a new turn signal switch in column. Can anyone help? Thank you. Frank.

Welcome to Team Chevelle!

What year is the car and do you have a volt meter?

I suspect the problem is in the signal switch. You can disconnect the signal switch then apply power to the terminals to check the wiring from the switch connection to the lights.

One way to do it is use an inline fuse, 10 A fuse and a length of wire. Connect the fuse to the BAT terminal on the fuse block. apply power to the ltblue wire to check the left front and power to the yellow for the left rear.

For reference this pic shows the signal switch connector from a 68, top, and a 71.

If the wiring is good the switch is the problem.

this problems dosen't make sense ? if your hazzards are working (that's brake lights and front indicators flashing all round ) but left brake and indicator not ? wiring and bulbs are good.
it can only be the indicator switch assembly that's faulty, seeing as the brake lights, hazzards and turn signal power all run through that switch.
