Had a great time though. Vegas is just a cool track, first class all the way, wish we had something like it down south.

It was hot but very little wind, got up to 93 on Saturday and 97 on Sunday. The DA got up to 5600' on Sunday so the car really slowed down but at least it was consistent. Just seems like the car is not affected too much until it gets over 4000' and then loses another tenth over 5000'.

My 60' was off 5/6 hun all weekend so I don't know if it was the track or the light but it was consistent at that number. Went some rounds in both classes so made some points, got to see my TC buds K.C. and Dal. John (Rat69) was there for TNT on Friday with his awesome Vette but didn't see him after that...

got eliminated by the big red in both classes..I swear I leave the same but obviously I don't!!..:(

Damn Davey, that sucker was even rolling strong in even the worst conditions..... 5600' ? Holy $hit man..... 128 mph in that air is awesome....

I think you and momma need to pack up and take a Valentines week road trip to Houston in Feb.......You get some of our air that thing will go 9s @ 130+ no problem.....

Yall come down here and me, Rafel, John W., and Sheetmetal will take you guys out for fajitas and ritas after we leave the track.....:yes:

that would be fun Alan..I love going to different tracks...the 128 was at 4985', trust me it slowed down when it hit 5600!!;)

We broke the wheelie bars on the 4th T and T pass on Friday. If we would have really tried to could have gotten them fixed, but after a 17 hour tow (blew out a tire on my motor home at 1am in Barstow) and the realization of what it costs in time and money to go to Vegas we were done anyway. No more tows that far for me until the kids are old enough to go with. I will stick to Barona, Irwindale, Fontana and Bakersfield.

The track was so tight on the starting line I went red every pass. .005, .006 .009 and ..025 when I broke the hiem joint on the wheelie bars. Had I not broke I was going to try to deal with that on Saturday.

I left the exact same tune on the car that went 7.59 in Fontana (1613 DA) and it went 7.77 (4254 DA) in Vegas. Talking to my buddies that run NA and it is pretty obvious that a nitrous car is much less effected by the DA.

Dave, it was great racing with you again. You had a lot better luck than I did though. I had red lightitus all weekend. I did have the same experience as you with the 60 foot and the last 2 passes Sunday afternoon slowed down a good tenth. And even though I tried to cook myself in the sun with all the oil downs, it was a blast. I didn't even realize it but John was parked right next to me. Heard about all his fun and then he split.

Hey John, I hear ya, had to cash in my loose change jar just to get there. Sorry you had issues but glad it wasn't anything serious...

Dal good to race with you too...there was a bit of downtime, the LVMS crew earned their burgers. At least you got that .000 :D

Great to meet your wife too! She's great with the camera.

As far as the showgirls... if you were like me, I was asleep before I got to the motel.

And the .000's, they only seem to come on Saturdays. I need to figure that out. I know I leave at the exact same time - every time................................

Dan/Robb/Jerry/John...thanks guys....I know there's a limit to how fast she'll go, hard to ask more than she's given. I'll have to think up some new things to try...;)

It was good to see you again Dave. It did get a "lil" warm didn't it? The velle is very clean, beautiful and deadly consistent. Your wife was sitting right in front of a couple friends and I who were arguing about the $1,000 bet I told you about. I saw her filming so I quieted it down for her filming purposes, lol! I told them, "see that white Chevelle right there with the black top, that's my buddy that told me to tell y'all that crow tastes better with garlic". They said why and I told them that I should be about 5/10's off that time he just ran. It got real quiet(told them our combos made very similar power)!!! With a lil tuning I should be $1,000 richer!!! Until next time Dave....

lol..next time K.C. you're doin' everything right with good parts...it's a no brainer...just some passes and some tweak time and it's gonna be right there....love to come up and help you run her in....I think we have a night race there end of July!!
