Hi everyone. I will be getting my 70 Chevelle to the track for the first time, (first time running at the track for me)
I wanted to remove the front inner fenders for some weight reduction, but I am confused after reading the NHRA rulebook. A few sections mention that having no inner fenders is prohibited, and other sections say it's fine, also depending on what class you car will be in. I have no idea what class I will be in. My car is modified a lot from stock, but its no where near an all-out track car.
I just do not want to remove them, and fail tech inspection. Can anyone please offer some clarification for me? I really appreciate it. Thank you!
