Okay this is really pissin me off. Still have no power through the instrument fuse receptacle. Is their a wire broken, a short, I checked everything its all hooked up, have only power on the red wire to the light switch connecter. Is the orange wire broke maybe somewhere or shorting out? When i hit the blinkers the passenger side is bright on both front and back, driver side is bright in front but dim in back and the wire is hot as hell. Something is touching metal somewhere and I cant find it. I would think it was something in the rear harness. But I checked it. Maybe in the intermediate harness but I doubt it. Should I call a professional or what? Electrical problems really freakin suck.

Sort of helps if you indicate what car you have. Anyway, I assume the orange wire you are talking about is the orange wire to the headlight switch. The most likely cause is the tail light fuse or the fuse clip. Try this.
Scratch both sides of the tail light fuse clip so you have a shiny spot.
Measure both sides of the fuse clips, with a meter, to ground. You should have 12 volts.
Pull the headlight switch on.
Again measure both sides of the fuse clips, with a meter, to ground. You should have 12 volts.
If the voltage goes down, on one side, after you pulled the switch on, turn the switch off and see if it goes up again. If you have the voltage going high/low and you turn the switch off/on this is an indication of a corroded fuse clip. Clean both of them up and replace the fuse.

Which wire is getting hot? Is it hot all the time? Hot when you hit a switch? Need a little more information.

*EDIT*
Oh yeah, I remember (I think). You're the guy with the 66 Chevelle. I loose track.

Yeah I'm the guy with the 66', anyway figured out the blinker problem, bulbs were in the wrong sockets. No more hot wires, but still have the light problems. Orange wire is definitley not getting any power.Nothing going through the instrument fuse. Does the switch have to ground to the dash panel? Could it have anything to do with the switch? Only the red wire on the connecter has power. I would think it was fuse panel but not sure? I'll keep trying everything. That damn orange wire is killing me.
