Hey, I am used to 1 cylinder engines
I am going to to install my beautiful, shiney new Harland Sharp rocker rollers on the big block, and would like to make lash adjustment as easy as possible. Then, I need to try to drop the distributor back in without having it one tooth off from the get-go.

I am assuming that the front cylinder on the driver's side is #1, and they go 3,5,7 as they come back. Then, #2 is the front cylinder in front of the passenger, and they go 4,6,8 as they come back. If this is correct, what is the firing order? I have an RPM Performer intake, and it doesn't have it cast in. If my numbering is off, please correct me and then give me the right order.

Thanks for the help. Got the feeler gauges in hand....I'm getting closer firing this baby up once again....
