I hope to have my 66 home by November or December with fresh body and paint work....I don't have a heated shop so will this be a problem as far as curing the paint etc? I don't want any problems down the road.
By the time you get it back from the painter it should be dry, all that the paint is going to do afterwards is gas off a little. If you are doing the painting in your garage, heat it up a day or two prior to the actual day of painting and keep it warm the day or two afterwards, so about 4 days total, and that is the minimum for me, I keep my shop pretty warm the days that I paint.
