I am 68, retired from US Army COE, and live in the Austin, Tx area. I got my first job at a garage at age 16 and have worked on or owned several hundred vehicles. I got into body work in the late 70s and owned my own shop for several years. I went back to college in my late 30s and took a government job which I retired from in 2013. I was able to build a nice shop with a lift and mostly work on my own junk. I have 3 Chevelles, a 1952 Studebaker pickup, a 1955 Chevy pickup, and 4 CJ5 jeeps. That should last me for quite awhile. I am building a 72 Chevelle convertible at this time. Since I am old and have CRS, I will probably ask many questions.

Welcome @olenburditt. There is a smallish (10-20 cars (sometimes more)) every Saturday up in Leander, probably not too far from you. Lots of good folks with some nice cars and knowledge.

I know the place. I shop at Lowes occasionally.
Welcome and hey please share some pics of that list of vehicles in your stable!
All of my vehicles are "works in progress". I restored a 67 Chevelle after I retired and took 3 years away from my own stuff to do a friend's 55 CJ5 and 31 Model A. Most of mine have too much dust on them to get a pic. Ha.

The Chevelle of yours looks like it would be my cars slightly older brother.
