Hi Folks,
New to site but have used it for lots of valuable info recently. Been out of it for about 25 years now but back in with a 67 resto project on tap for me and my boys. Have had a true 68 SS 396 since '78, had no idea it's worth what it is these days, glad I kept it! Glad to be a part of TC.

Only paid $500 for it Rick, just needs a little TLCas it's been inop for about 15 years now. But I do want to sell it to fund the 67, it needs quite a bit of work. But you may be correct and maybe I'm a dreamer.

Thanks Jay and I have no doubt Rick was just kidding. The smiley's gave it away. I'm really liking the site so far and just realized I should support it as well. I'm gonna need a lot of tech help and advice as I feel I've perhaps gotten in over my head with the 67. It's a 136 vin with disk brakes and p/s. No eng/trans or interior but body is cherry and ready for paint I want to put in a LS-5 454 I've had for a while and a 4-speed. I want one I can drive, not trailer. Dave

Dave- I have a history of misunderstanding things on the internet, my fault. Joining was the best 20 bucks I ever spent on my chevelle!!
