Hey guys, my ride willbe done from paint next week :) an I want to start on the wiring. I am opting for M&H partly because of a lot of the good things I have heard, but their shop is near by house. Before I go order it all, is there anything any of you would suggest (i.e. upgrades or ANYTHING). My 69 is basicaly a cruiser and it will for the most part be all stock, with the exception of a stereo system and an MSD electronic ignition. I am putting the original AC back in, but that is about it. Thanks

A few things come to mind:

If you're running MSD, you want to order it for the HEI option and just cut and tape off the yellow resistor wire...that way you get the full 12 volts.

Driver or passenger side alternator? I'm guessing passenger side since it's a '69(first year for pass. side alt.)

Internal or external voltage regulator?

Console?

Gauges or idiot lights?

Power windows?

Rear window defrost?

Steering column replacement harness stuff too?

Convertible(power top wires)?

I'd say make a list of everything you need on the car and order accordingly.
