Hey guys, first post. Very green and wet behind the ears but looking to learn alot from all of you. Looking forward to becoming a part of this great community.

I have a 1981 Corvette with what I believe is a 350/V8 small block stock engine in it. Would I be able to put this into a 69 or 70 chevelle? Sorry if it is a stupid question, I am really new to this and looking to learn. Thanks in advance guys for your time and patience.

Yes. a small block is a small block. except early 283's and of coarse gen III's etc. Check the oil pan (cna't remember about c3 vettes); make sure that flywheels, bellhousings, flexplates all jive. It will work it just takes a little home work. For that matter all the Gen III stuff is now available to do swaps with only a little pain. As a side note you can greatly improv the performance on that 81 vintage sbc with a little effort.
