All this talk about guitars and music is kind of weird (in a good way) I just got a new one as well. (Ibanez) It's a great stress release to be playing again.

Didn't want to highjack the other thread. Just sharing some fun stuff as well. :)

Now Sid, if I can just remember how to play Temple Of Syrix :) - Give me some time....

Looks pretty wicked!

Seems a lot of people are getting GAS lately (guitar aquisition syndrome)
Yea, I thought it was time to ungrade from just an acoustic. :)

14! Wow, I have three, with the Ibanez being my newest.

You have quite the colection. :)

Since I play drums, I do not have guitar envy. Hey Dan, any bass players in CE? We could get a band together and do politcal songs ala Rage. That would be a good way to get the message out.

With a fist full of steel!

The guitars and amps I've collected all by myself.... The Drums were 50/50 with my brother and he lost interest so I got them... Then my mother in law gave me her Roland Juno when she got a new keyboard... Took me a long time to collect all that.... Everything but my Strat and J185 are put awa in their cases, my basement flooded... Thankfully the water didn't make it to the instruments, but I still haven't completely cleaned it all.... The little acoustic is a Baby Taylor I bought for my oldest son, hopefully my youngest will actually play it....

Time to whip out the drummer jokes???

:D OK, I'll start:

How can you tell if the stage is level? The drummer is drooling from BOTH sides of his mouth!!

What do you call a drummer delivering pizza?? Gainfully employed!

Next??? :D

Are you originally from Maryland? I am - grew up in the Northwest Baltimore area...anyway, do you remember the band the Kix? They were the Generators, the Shooz (I believe) and then became the Kix.

I must have saw a thousand times at the Sandbar & Hammerjacks.

Anyway, I saw a thing on VH1, where one of the members got a job creating billboards (the ones you see on the side of the road). :)

hey niteowl...how do you like that ovation acoustic??? i have been thinking of picking one up.
It's nice, plays more like an electric than an acoustic... You NEED to wear a strap, the round back takes a little getting used to.... It was my main bar guitar when I did open mike nights with some friends....
