hi guys. i have been a die hard pontiac guy for over twenty years. i have owned a '65 GTO, '73 TA, '73 formula, '76 50th anniv. TA, and currently a '63 tempest SD replica mickey thompson cross rammed 389 with a 4 spd and old style poncho rear. believe it or not im new to chevys. ive wrenched on them but need to learn all the ins and outs( what year this fits what year that). i am looking at either a '66 or 7 or maybe a '68 or 9 all hell i really like the '71 and 2's. anyway i am in the market for a chevelle, preferrably not numbers matching, and maybe big block. hey did they ever make a bbc crossram?? i'll be picking a few brains here as i learn.
thanks
Dave

Welcome Dave. I too am a reformed Poncho man ('70 Judge RAIII/4SP, '68 GTO hardtop 400HO/4SP -sold both - somebody KILL me). I've always been a GM man though, especially A-bodies. Before I bought my Chevelle, I joined here and it has been INVALUABLE. The knowledge and fellowship on this "community" is second to none. Ask anything!

Hello and welcome Dave. Have you looked at the classifieds here? There are numerous Chevelles for sale without matching numbers.

I've never seen a BBC cross ram.

Another Ohio guy - fantastic. I am a big Pontiac fan also, attended the Pontaic Nationals in Norwalk Ohio for many years. Used to be a member of the now defunc Trans Am Club based in Strongsville Ohio. I still have my Trans Am but the Chevelle world has taken over my world!!! Lots of great people on this site, they are even more fun in person!!!

Hope you can make it to the Northern Chevelle Regionals this year in Hudson Ohio - see my signature for more info!!!

Welcome aboard
