I finally got around to finishing my exhaust system. It consists of Dynatech Musclemaxx 1-3/4” to 1-7/8” stepped headers. Dynomax Super Turbo 17793 mufflers. 3 inch mandrel bent from front to back with turn downs near the rear bumper. No crossover. Tucked up nicely. Good clearance over the axle.

Sounds good and it tames it down inside the car. Now I have the pleasure of hearing my electric fuel pump. What do you guys think? I’m really happy with it. Plus I have room to grow for future power.

Sounds great, I don't think I'd like hearing an elec fuel pump all the time though, what size tires you running back there?

I’m loving these tail pipes. Now I barely notice exhaust fumes any more, I just give them to the guy behind me. What can a say? I’m a caring person, it’s in my nature. Lol

I'm regretting a full 3" exhaust since it's too close to the gas tank and 295/55r15" tires, thinking of going 2.5" from the muffs back, the 275/50r17" that's on the car now's ok but really want 305/45r17"'s

How close we talking? 1/4” or what?

Can barely get a finger between tire and exh. pipe, havent measured the tank but really close as heat is probably soaking on the tank
That’s pretty tight. You have the Pypes tail pipes correct? We ended up chopping the tail pipes into pieces and welding it up that way. Probably 1.5” clearance from the tank and tire. Give or take

I’ve never done it but I think it could work if you take your time and don’t alter the routing of the pipes as a biproduct.

Sounds good. I can tell it's a small block, my 454 sounds way deeper. I have hedman headers, full 3" exhaust, x pipe, and straight thru magnaflow mufflers. It's a little too loud for me, especially at lower rpm's it sends a resonance inside the car which is annoying. Thinking about going with flowmaster mufflers or maybe the ones you got, dynomax super turbos.
