After a broken rocker arm chewed up a valve stem, I commenced to tearing the "350" apart. Rather than a doggy 350, it turns out to be a .040" over 307. Actually, with the 1.94" -1.50" valves, the engine wasn't all that bad. However, I came across a completely rebuilt 350 with slightly better than stock cam and a new Edelbrock EPS intake. Couldn't begin to rebuild one for the price. Should have it on the road before the weekend is over. Around here, 350s are becoming something of a rare breed and that surprised me.
