How does one mannage a FREE el camino?

Okay here's the story.
I work as a plumber out of a plumbing shop in town. A self employed plumber who has been shopping at our shop for years had the el camino.
He didn't drive it much. In fact he only used it to haul scap and old water heaters to the dump (he plumbs out of a van). He has owned the car since the early 80's. About 3 weeks ago he came in with a newer toyota pick-up. I didn't think of it until I woke up saturday morning wondering what he was going to do with the elcamino, so I called him and asked if he wanted to get rid of it, he did, I asked what he wanted for it. he said "nothin" so I asked if I could come right out and pick it up (before he changed his mind) I went out and picked it up. It came with an almost complete set of extra chrome trim pieces and an extra rear end.

The car is a project at best. It needs a roof (rust) and some rust patch here and there, it pulls real hard to the right when braking amongst alot of small odds and ends, but it should be fun
