Looks like Eddy is finally getting into making a better carburetor finally. The new Holley look alike looks pretty interesting. There is a 650 and 950 version also.
No price as of yet but I am sure it will be over $500 bucks. Will work on both 4150 and 4500 intakes without an adapter.

Saw it at SEMA today. Not a bad looking carburetor with some interesting options but definitely a lot of Holley look alike parts! The one option I thought was cool was the included idle air screw that allows you to adjust idle without having to adjust the throttle blades. Seems interesting and yes they will have 650, 750, 850 and 950 cfm options available.

It's all fine and dandy but when we been waiting on intakes and heads in some cases a year, a new carb design can't just "float" over the engine.

Let me see - Holley owns Edelbrock - wonder how they are getting away with it!
No, Holley is own by a different private equity group. Edelbrock bought the Comp Performance Group 2 years ago.

It's too bad guys like you Chris cannot get into making new intake manifolds, your stuff would blow the competition away. I am sure of that.

The guy that did all the grinding on the prototype manifolds for HVH has worked for me for 3 years. Donnie taught Keith Wilson how to port intakes. Next week I will announce who has come to work at Straub Tech. This person has designed heads for NASCAR and has worked in this industry for 35 years at the highest level. I'm just lucky he and his wife wanted to retire in Bristol TN.

Edelbrock and the comp group are owned by Race Winning Brands. As long as these groups keep buying up the manufacturers, our hobby will keep being hurt.
Not correct. RWB owns Dart, Diamond, Manley, Victory, JE Pistons, and a few others.

Anyone have a link to these? Like the idea of an externally adjustable IAB

Is Edelbrock moving thier Torrance facility out of Ca or just their foundry here in San Jacinto?
Prices of carbs sure have gone up the last 5 yrs (could be wrong)...Wasnt too long ago I paid 500ish for an AED set up for my car
They are crazy money now?

Looks like an adjustable idle air bypass.
