So, I order an ACC carpet set from Stock Interiors. All I can say is what a piece of crap that product is. Let's start with the first issue. The insulation padding which is pre-glued looked like a child did it It was bunched up and crooked. Had to peel it off and re-glue it. Not to mention it deformed the heck out of the carpet itself. Issue two: front piece of carpet not cut square to the heel pad. Issue three: Finished edge(part that covers the rear piece of carpet) was wavy. You mean to tell me someone can't cut a straight line. Issue four and the biggest issue of all: THE F-ING CARPET ISN'T WIDE ENOUGH TO REACH THE DOOR SILLS, which can only be determine after you cut the holes needed for screw braces and anything else that sticks out of the floor.
What really sucks is you can't tell if its really going to be to short until you cut it and get it to lay flat, which then does not allow you to return it. I won't even get into how bad the quality of the carpet itself is. Stay away from ACC carpet products. I've read some good experiences with their product in some other posts(pretty old post), but their product today is just crap. It's not like I might have just recieved a "bad one", this thing should have never left the factory. Now I have to redo the entire process all over again as I have some big events coming up and put the car back together, bad carpet or not.
Who in the hell scimps on a couple inches of carpet? The other issues I could live with and correct, but leaving a gap at the sills is poor quality all the way around and being cheap. End of rant.
