You'll love your new cam! The RPM AirGap is pretty popular on this forum. I personally would use the dual plane, but see what the more experienced guys have to say first.

Depends of it is more of a street car or race car, gear ratio, stall speed, etc.
I'd run the stealth if it is leaning more towards street than strip which I would assume hence the hyd cam.

Thank you all for your response.
Brian, it is 90% street,4050 w/me in it, 2800 stall,3.31, soon to be 4.11, a/c car, and I am leaning toward the stealth since I already have it.

Interesting 1/8 and 1/4 mile mph's comparing a Stealth and Vic Jr on my 502, 6500 shift point.

STEALTH
97.45/124.59
96.95/123.70

VIC
98.01/124.94
97.86/124.51

Pretty close huh?

I've used the Performer RPM, and I've used the Vic jr, the RPM is on the car, yes its been ported a little bit, but it works well on my combo, no trouble hitting 7k.
This build, with those gears, stall, and weight, will like that dual plane intake for sure.

Bob I know I have busted your balls about that dual plane (with port work & 2 inch spacer) deal before......... know what my new combo is going to have on it dual palne with a 2 inch spacer :D :D

Knew that was going to come out.... just couldn't remember who it was and didn't wanna use the "search" function. LOL
Good to know you came around though:thumbsup:

to be honest i still think that the porting and the spacer do play a big roll in what makes that intake work on his combo...... The reason im running that combo is because the motor i got, by way of some horse trading, only has one carb intake avalible.....

and with 13:1 compression and a 265 273 @ .050 cam it needs as much help as it can get. Hell if I had the money id send the intake out to DR J and tell him to have at it.
