well it was colder than a well diggers butt today but my son talked me into going racing.i think the high was 48.it was the first race of the year,i just didnt think the track would hold in the cold but jason did a good job of prepping the track .netted a best 60ft also.best pass was rt .493 red 60ft 1.437 330 4.327 1/8th 6.789 mph 99.21 .thats not to shabby we had starter problems so i told my son to load up instead of buying back.we had already split a buy back with my buddy the round before. rt 5.45 60ft 1.445 330 4.348 1/8th 6.876 at 93.68 mph he lifted twice on that run and got the win.with a new set of slicks and good air again we may do a little better yet.

thanks men ,its been 75 and 80 hear for about a month now so fortys get pretty ruff on an old body anyways.i just got a call from another buddy and said my buddy that we split the buy back with runnered up in yesterdays race.my son beat him in the first round and i think he only won one round on dail in but everybody else red lighted against him.doesnt matter he took home 400 dallars .who says luck doesnt play into drag racing.
