after my buddy getting me in for free he talked me into making a pass.

No slicks no tuning, truck full of stuff and it ran a 12.72 @ 106.6. Was sort of happy. 60 ft was reasonable @ 1.95.

then he talked me into another one,
it went 12.54 @ 108.97

well I made 2 more pass next one 12.77 @ 109.72 and a 60 ft of 2.13.

and then on the last pass it came
12.29 @ 110.26 and a 60 ft @ 1.85 this is not the quickest my car has gone but it is the quickest it has run with street tires (BfG) through the muffles, and the MPH is almost back.:thumbsup:

thanks Bill. I really was not going to run after the problems I have had this year, so to run a best on street tire was really great.

BTW I put the car on a scale last night and it weighed in at 1900 kgs with me in it :yes:

Damn...thats almost 4200 lbs!! (used 1900 X 2.2 to convert)
You must have had a lot of junk in the trunk. Did you take that TH400 out of there yet? :D
Weighed my '67 a few weeks ago...right at 3800 lbs with me in the seat and almost a full tank of gas.
Not bad for an iron headed big block car.

for the record I did take some stuff out the truck after the first run.
Probably about 150 lbs, tools cleaning supplies and such, so it still comes in around 4000lb.

Thanks
I was going to run it once more to back it up but with the luck I've been having this year, decided to quit while I was ahead.
