ok i have my backup lights hooked up and know i need to know what wires goes the the neutral saftey switch is it the ignition hot wire???? so when u turn the key over it wont go threw the circuit when its is some other gear other than park or neutral????

No, It's the Purple wire that sends power from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid "S" terminal that gets "open" when the shifter is in gear.
