My 71 Elky's wiper motor just took a dump! I disconnected the 3 terminal connector on the right side(looking at the motor) and put 12 volts to the center terminal and ground to the other. (just following the Chilton manual),nothing. I hear clicking like a relay or something but the motor wont turn. Any ideas or a place to repair it. I dont want to buy a new or rebuilt one. I'm just funny about repairing what I have. Thanks, Scott

The clicking tells me that it may not be the motor, but I can't guarantee that.

Check inside the washer mechanism. There's a contactor in there that may not be engaging.

Could also be part of the "park" mechanism.

Be careful when you open it up and pay close attention to everything. It's not the most simple mechanism ever conceived.
