i have a turbo 400 transmission and i need help on what stall to use? i have a fully built 350 bored 30 over, solid isky cam 286/289 525/548, 11.1 dome pistons, edelbrock torq 2 intake manifold with a 650 holley double pumper, dart 202 heads and the block has been race shop balanced. ok my question is that i have a 1900-2400 stall and every time i put it in gear it dies what stall should i use?

How does it stall? does it just flat quit like its been shut off or does it idle down lower and lower until it dies or does it sputter and spit and then just cut out? I agree it is not the stall converter, it is somthing in your carb or vacuum or fuel lines or timing but not the stall converter.

What is your idle RPM? I think you may need to start by jacking your idle up until it stays running then possibly looking at timing issues. If you have a big enough cam to warrent a reserve vacuum cannister you may be idling too low. also mioght want to check carb float levels and fuel pump. I am just throwing things out there but they are all possibilities.
