My Mom has been acting very strange the last couple of weeks. Last Wednesday she said a snake bit her in our kitchen while watching our two young girls. ?????????? She couldn't remember what happened the day before or even the morning. I knew for sure something was drasticlly wrong. I called her doctor's office and set up an appointment for her immediately. The doctor interviewed her and said she had some demensia.
Her strange actions only developed over about ten days. A brain scan Friday morning showed a brain tumor behind her left eye. I don't know what's next as we're waiting to see a neuro-surgeon.
I've never been through anything like this since our family has been blessed with pretty good health so far. The good thing is, I guess, is that she's in no pain and just laughs off her silly remarks and actions. She's 69 years old and just as sweet as can be. I can't figure out why bad things happen to good people. Her name is Kay.

Thank You! Thank You!

Seems to be working. We took her to the neurologist today. He said he believes the tumor is benign (No Cancer) and it must be removed ASAP. She's going in the Hospital on Christmas Day. The Doc said she should return to normal in a few weeks.

I'm praying for a Christmas miricle.

Our prayers are with you.

My mom had a similar problem about 15 years ago, middle of her brain. They cut a golf-ball sized hole in the back of her head, went in and removed it. No trouble since, but they recommended she avoid caffiene ever since. Not sure why no caffiene, but she's followed the advice.

I'm sure it will work out for the best - good luck!
