I took in a lot of the comments and concerns you guys brought up and decided to rid myself of the tranny, posted on market place and sold for 1300$ with shifter linkage and all. Took the proceeds and purchased this beauty, completely rebuilt M21 and free shipping 2yr warranty. Also purchased the correct shifter from Jody’s transmissions, very helpful and informative guy. Thanks all, bought new M21 for 1400plus tax. Well worth the piece of mind knowing you have a healthy tranny.
Need help identifying Muncie 4spd
Was told it was in a 70 chevelle and that it was a m22 but the case numbers etc does not reflect that, anyway to tell if it’s a m20 21 or 22 without opening main case? Shifter is hurst comp plus us pat 3.216.274?
